Tourism Day Visits are an important component of UK tourism, in 2005 they accounted for over half of all tourism expenditure. The main survey measuring volume and value of Tourism Day Visits is the Natural England Leisure Day Visits Survey. VisitBritain has produced summaries each time the survey has been conducted, with 2005 the last year the survey was conducted.
