![]() | VisitBritain has issued a mid-year update of our forecast for the volume and value of inbound tourism first published in December 2007. The forecast continues to be that the volume of inbound tourism will increase by 2%, but we now anticipate the nominal value of inbound tourism to increase by only 1.4%, representing a slight decline in real terms. The United Nations World Tourism Organisation has released provisional figures showing the top destinations in 2007 for both international tourism arrivals and receipts.
