BTTF 2007 celebrates its’ 25th birthday in style!

As one of the centerpiece events of the first ever British Tourism Week, the 25th British Travel Trade Fair celebrated its’ milestone by hosting over 200 overseas buyers from more markets than ever before! Opened by the Secretary of State, Tessa Jowell, the two-day travel trade exhibition welcomed over 2,200 domestic and overseas buyers, over half of whom were looking for and found new products and services among the 300+ exhibitors from across Britain and Ireland at the show.

The silver anniversary was topped off by a golden evening at Warwick Castle. The Big Knight Out welcomed 450 guests (BTTF exhibitors and overseas buyers) and was hosted by VisitBritain, Reed Travel Exhibitions, Spamalot, Heart of England Tourism, The Tussauds Group and See Tickets. Guests were entertained by a fire-eater, a magician, medieval minstrels, tours of the castle and a fireworks finale.
