Print & paper buying
VisitBritain prints approximately 10 million brochures, maps and leaflets each year. This print volume provides us with significant buying power, and we enhance this by sourcing our print throughout Britain and overseas to ensure extremely competitive rates for our clients.

Reprographics
The reprographic process makes design files press ready and ensures accurate colour performance. We source reprographic services from a wide range of suppliers to ensure the best value for money.

Press passing
Our dedicated team will work night and day to check that your publication is perfect when it comes off the press. We can be there at three o’clock in the morning to ensure that the proofs are correct, that the pages are in the right order, that the images and text are sharp and that the right colours have been used.

Ad copy chasing
If your brochure includes third party advertisements, we will liaise with the advertising agencies on your behalf, to ensure that all adverts are on time and on spec.

Proof approval
We can liaise with reprographic and print companies to ensure that all of the proofs are correct. We can also obtain sign-off from those involved – including clients and writers.

PDF creation
We can convert raw design files into low-resolution documents that are suitable for online usage or e-mail attachment.
