FIRE SAFETY
Important Change in Fire Regulations - affects ALL accommodation providers

The Fire Safety law changed in October 2006. This will affect every accommodation provider in Britain.  The biggest impact of this is for those not previously affected by the old legislation such as self catering properties and small guest houses or B&B operations.

We are aware that there is a hug difference in the interpretation by fire officers on a local basis and we are doing our best at the moment to try and get a definitive answer from someone at Government level.  In the meantime if you have had an inspection from a fire officer - how did it go?  We'd love to hear your experiences (good or bad), please email us with any feedback.
