The 2012 Olympic Games & Paralympic Games offer massive potential for the UK's tourism industry. VisitBritain is working with partners across the industry, including Visit London and Department for Culture Media & Sport (DCMS), to scope out and realise the opportunities. In addition, an industry-wide consultation exercise - led by DCMS - is taking place during 2006 to help develop an ambitious tourism strategy for the years leading up to and beyond 2012.
